Intention is probably one of my favourite words, and when lived out, probably one of my favourite feelings. Living with intention acknowledges that we all have a purpose, we have value, and we align with our purpose when our thoughts and actions are intentional.
Living with intention is like any area of self-development: it needs to be worked on in order to grow. Start small, start with setting intentions for the day. I like to turn an area that I might be struggling with into an area of intention in order to redirect focus and energy towards a positive outcome. Another area that I really enjoy being intentional about is my conversations with people. You will notice how much more meaningful the conversations are when there is intention connected to it. To live with intention is an act of gratitude for the time you’ve been given.
