Our first Agency Access event got off to an amazing start on July 22nd by having the honor of hosting two respectable members of Grow With Search, our latest partner agency. The Tech Effect was privileged to have two amazing guest speakers speak about their stories, as well as share valuable tips on search engine optimization (SEO) topics. Using the right keywords is one step but ensuring they have proper structure is another. Matt spoke about the importance of placing keywords in specific areas on your web pages that will help you rank better. Main headings, subheadings, body paragraphs, and hyperlinks of your web pages are vital for the inclusion of keywords. This would help Google notice your brand and bump up your search rankings.

Another search ranking hack is to put alt text behind your images because it helps increase your site’s accessibility. Adding keywords behind your images is another method that will convince Google to boost your search rankings.

Tips for Off-Page SEO

Lastly, Matt spoke about internal, external links and newsworthiness. Whether it’s guest blogs or companies finding value in your content, external links will do wonders for your search rankings. Not only will this bring traffic from other companies but Google will continue to boost your search rankings. It will also show that you are trustworthy and have genuine relationships with other brands.
