With the fastest growing tech conference happening in Toronto for the last time, we knew The Tech Effect had to do it big.
Large conferences are an exciting experience, full of innovative ideas and dynamic conversations, which can also be intimidating, confusing and expensive for those who haven’t been before.
These were the barriers we wanted to address when co-creating the Collision experience for Tech Effect community members, along with the Collision event team.
As a Community Partner we were able to provide free tickets to students, entrepreneurs and women in our network. We believe in the power of education and entrepreneurship to drive positive change, which is why we offer these groups the chance to attend events and workshops that can enrich their knowledge and skills. By removing financial barriers, we aim to empower individuals to pursue their passions and aspirations without constraints.
The highlight of the conference was hosting the BIPOC professionals meet up with over 150 attendees, it was a powerful gathering where individuals shared experiences, exchanged contact information, and built a strong sense of community.
As the event came to a close, many participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and learn from each other. Connections made at the meet up were just the beginning of a supportive network that would continue to grow and thrive in the days and weeks ahead.
After a week of good times and great connections, we’re definitely keeping considering attending Collision in Vancouver, 2025. The event promises to bring together industry leaders, innovators, and tech enthusiasts for a dynamic exchange of ideas and networking opportunities.
Don’t miss this exceptional opportunity to be part of a vibrant tech community, learn from experts in the field, and immerse yourself in an inspiring environment dedicated to driving technological advancements and fostering innovation.
